Resumen de The Influence of Interpersonal and Individual Levels of Knowledge Sharing on Researchers' Performance

This paper analyse how collaborative team processes can contribute to create a climate for knowledge sharing between team members that improve their performance in terms of satisfaction and commitment with the research team, and in turn, on the number of publications. An empirical research was carried out by mean of a survey to 291 academic researchers in 87 teams. The show the importance of collaborative team processes for the scientific production of researchers. Thus, the number of articles published in SCI journals by researchers is directly related to their level of commitment with the team. That commitment is influenced both by the researchers' satisfaction and by collaborative team processes that favours knowledge sharing dynamics. Ultimately, team processes show a direct and indirect impact on all model variables that lead to a greater team commitment, which is to be a determining factor in the number of articles published by researchers.
