  • Resumen
    • In lhis paper, we propose a first step leading to the description of the lexicon of scientific language by extracting a transdisciplinary scientifie lexicon (TSL) in French and English. We consider that the TSL is domain independent and forms a central lexical core of all domains; it is at the center of the argumentation, the description and the structuring processes we observe in scientific discourse. In order to extract the transdisciplinary lexicon, we use natural language processing tools and statistical techniques. Our identification method relies on two main ideas. The distribution of the TSL in all scientific documents and the specificity of the TSL 10 scientific documents.
