An interview is presented with business education college teachers Henrich Greve and Marc-David Seidel. The two men discuss their research on the role of first-moved advantage in the adaption of technology in which their study of the history of sales of the McDonnell Douglas DC-10 and Lockheed L-1011 TriStar jet transports in the 1970s in which the former, despite serious design flaws, was able to obtain a larger market share due to having entered the market one year earlier than the L-1011.
