Resumen de La argentinidad: un marco interpretativo

  A principios del siglo XX, en la intersección entre los cambios sociales producidos por la gran inmigración y el Centenario de la revolución de mayo, surge el término argentinidad para designar no tanto el modo y forma de ser de los argentinos sino una forma de gobernar. De modo que la pregunta por la argentinidad y el término mismo surgen como problema a partir de una reconfiguración del campo de las relaciones de poder preexistentes, que necesita para volver a estabilizarse y/o neutralizar resistencias, de formas biopolíticas de ejercicio del poder: gobernar es poblar, gobernar es educar, gobernar es argentinizar.

  In the early twentieth Century, at the intersection between social changes generated by the great immigration and the Centennial of the May revolution, Argentinity term arises to designate a way of governing, rather than a designation of Argentinean manner. So, the question for Argentinity and the term itself emerges as a problem from a reconfiguration of the field of pre-existing power relations, that needs of biopolitical forms of governance, to re-stabilize itself and /or neutralize resistance: to govern is to populate, to govern is to educate, to govern is to argentinize.
