En el presente artículo nos ocupamos del análisis comparativo de la versión árabe con respecto al texto siriaco que se nos ha preservado (junto con los fragmentos oxirrínqueos correspondientes) de un fragmento del Apocalipsis siríaco de Baruc: 12,1-5, 13,1-2,11-12 y 14,1-3. La finalidad de este análisis es tratar de restituir la posible "Vorlage" siriaca que no hubo de ser muy distinto del que ofrece el "unicum syriacum ambrosianum"

In the present paper we offer a comparative analysis of the Arabic version and the Syriac text which has survived (together with the respective fragments from the Oxyrhincus) of a fragment from the Syriac Apocalypse of Baruch: 12:1-5, 13:1-2,11-12, and 14:1-3. The aim of this analysis is to restitute the possible Syriac "Vorlage" that has not survived. At the same time we hope to demonstrate that this Syriac text used by the Arab translator was not much different from the text gathered in the "unicum syriacum ambrosianum")
