Resumen de ¿Emociones que corrigen la regla? El peso de las emociones en la Corte francesa del derecho al asilo

A partir de una investigación etnográfica en la Cortefrancesa del derecho de asilo —institución que evalúa lasapelaciones de los solicitantes de asilo que ya han recibidoun primer rechazo de la administración francesa—,propongo una exploración de las emociones y sentimientosque se ponen en juego a la hora de evaluar la credibilidadde las peticiones de asilo y la sinceridad de lossolicitantes. El estudio de las emociones permitirá abordarla construcción de las figuras de víctima, militante ydel falso refugiado en sede judicial.

Based on an ethnographic research at the French Court of Asylum —which reviews appeals from decisions of the French Office for the Protection of Refugees and Stateless Persons that have been rejected—, this arti- cle explores the emotions at stake in the courtroom when judges evaluate the credibility of the claims and the sincerity of the claimants.
