In this paper we describe the implementation of an incremental fuzzy PI controller with a basis of rules to a direct current motor controlled by field. The matrix of rules is tuned through genetic algorithms. The controller, by its own, has been designed to conduct the motor from an initial condition of 0 to 100rpm (revolutions per minute).Consequently, the simulations and the results obtained show an optimal behavior of the system.
