The study habits, take an interest in educational research on the functioning of human behavior, in this specific academic goals must support institutional educational policies are integrated. The study habits in high school students, allow to demonstrate techniques to help their development, by virtue of which will be those that build and demonstrate skills that support academic self-regulation of students together with the teacher. Therefore, the objective of the research is to identify the level of study habits of high school students in the city of Zacatecas, help and / or hinder the move towards a pedagogy of complex order, the results were processed electronically obtaining an unfavorable percentage considering the instrument applied "Habits Questionnaire Study" by José Luis Díaz Vega, covering a score of 0 to 100% respectively of the seven areas assessed.
