Meridians are conductive vessels of Qi, that we can translate as Energy, and the points are like knots where we can modify the energy flow. We have 12 main meridians, and other like marvelous, collateral and distinct meridians. The points are also categorized in Shu (Ancient) , Yuan (Strong) , Luo (Link) , Xi (fissure) , Back-Shu, Ventral-Mu and Crossing points. There are also different techniques of needle insertion or Moxa burning, that can be made with Artemisa eones or cigars, by a direct or indirect application over the skin, or also heating the inserted needle with it (termic needle).
