Twenty-four halfbred Yorkshire-Landrace were evaluate to determine the effect of partial substitution of basal diet by dry swine feaces (swine waste) on carcass characteristics. Least-square analysis of variancecovariance included treatment effects; A= 90 % of basal diet plus 10 % of dry swine feces, B= 80 % of basal diet plus 20 % of dry swine feces and T= control (100 % of basal diet). The animals of B group showed the greater carcass performance (T= 74.9, A= 72.7 and B= 76.4 %), however the carcass length was grater in the control group (T= 79.5, B= 78.04 y C= 77.03 cm). The treatments did not affect the chilled carcass weight, Longissimus dorsi area and degrees of muscling (P>.05).
