    • Two hundred and one (201) five days old chicks were used in a time access feed restriction program. T1, free feed access; T2, 18 hs of feed access; and T3, 12 hs of feed access from the sixth to the twenty-sixth day of age. The feed was restricted by removing the troughs out of reach of the animals. In the stages of beginning growth and end of growth common commercial feed was used, one containing 22 % of protein with 2 520 Kcal of ME and the other containing 19 % of protein with 2 181 Kcal of ME respectively.
