Resumen de Make-up Exams:: What's a Professor to Do?

Stephen W. Carper

  • Make-up exams tend to be one of the most difficult issues facing professors. When a student is unable to take an exam at the same time and place as other students, a burden is placed on the professor. Treating the students in a fair manner is a major concern. This article offers an equitable solution to the problem, by allowing the student to prepare and take his/her own examination. They are then graded subjectively on the quality of their questions and answers.
