• Resumen

  • The article is devoted to the chemical experiment usually called "Ammonia Fountain". The demonstration contains a new approach to this popular and attractive experiment. The author's concept includes an interesting idea combining the effect of the fountain with the demonstration "Density Gradient". The fountain together with the density gradient creates a greater effect.The idea is appropriate for the high school/college level, it is easy to perform, quite visible, and demonstrates a number of chemical principles. The experiment has been well researched, and is free of major safety hazards.
