Resumen de The Multimedia Chemistry Laboratory:: Perception and Performance

  • Undergraduate chemistry students performed a variety of interactive videodisc laboratory lessons. Based on results from questionnaires they gave an extremely favorable evaluation of this new innovative technology. Students also demonstrated a 12% average improvement on quizzes and a 10% average improvement on exams. Finally, they indicated a preference for videodisc laboratory lessons compared to wet laboratory exercises.
