Resumen de Discapacidad en el siglo XXI

El objetivo de este trabajo es acercar al ámbito de las bibliotecas conocimientos relacionados con diferentes discapacidades con el fin de llevar a cabo la eliminación de barreras mentales y físicas necesarias para conseguir la inclusión plena de este colectivo tal y como establece nuestra constitución en su artículo 49. Para ello vamos a comenzar haciendo un recorrido sobre cómo ha ido evolucionando el término discapacidad. Vamos a describir, comentar sus limitaciones más frecuentes así como ofrecer pautas de comportamiento de las discapacidades más frecuentes para, en la última parte, establecer una serie de adaptaciones físicas que se pueden llevar a cabo tanto en el propio edificio como en las diferentes salas que lo compone. Para finalizar describiremos una serie de aplicaciones gratuitas que podemos incluir en nuestros pc y tabletas.

The aim of this paper is to bring into the libraries knowledge based aspects related to the different kind of disabilities. This way it will be easy to break the physical and mental barriers in order to get the inclusion of this community just as it is stated in our constitution on article 49. To start with, we are going to review the evolution of the term disability. We are going to describe and comment its most frequent limitations.
Also, we are going to offer some guidelines about the behavior of the most common disabilities. Later, we are going to set a series of physical adaptations that can be implemented in the building and in its different rooms. Finally, we will describe some free apps that we can download in our PCs and tablets.
