Resumen
In Puerto Principe, actual Camagüey province, from XVIII century is possible to find references about the start-ups of theatrical manifestations, first related with the ecclesiastic work, as part of the ordinary religions parties, the visits of personalities or the dynastic changes. But at the beginning of the XIX century began the rise - up of the theater in the villa, when was opening in 1809 a place to this showed, then was registered in 1813 the opening of Coliseo and successively will be beginning to appear other spaces as The Fénix, until continuing the construction of the Principal theater, earning in hierarchy and meaning. The XX century, register a rise � up in the construction of theaters, to able in some case of it fulfills one's obligations to several functions as cinematograph and diverse shows. The theatres are expressions of cultural development of the cities, the patrimonial wealth and its inhabitants for the progress.
