  • Arthur Miller published in 1971 �The Mural Painting of Teotihuacan�, work that registers all the mural painting discovered so far. By 2001, the National Autonomous University of Mexico presents a very complete catalog of these artistic manifestations based on exhaustive photographic records. After comparing both publications it was already possible to identify severe conservation problems being suffered by the murals in just a few decades.

    These problems have not been solved yet and each year the loss of these objects of study is suffered. As a result, this work seeks to present both the conservation difficulties being faced by Teotihuacan�s mural paintings and the most recent actions taken in order to prevent their destruction.
