  En este artículo se muestran los resultados más relevantes de una investigación centrada en el análisis sobre las habilidades motivacionales en la expresión escrita por parte del alumnado sordo con y sin implante coclear.

  El proceso de recogida de datos ha consistido en la aplicación de dos escalas adaptadas: sobre las actitudes y la auto-percepción de la eficacia en la escritura, tomadas de Harris y Graham (1992) y traducidas por Salvador (1997). En cuanto al procedimiento de análisis, se ha llevado a cabo una comparación y confrontación de las habilidades motivacionales según el tipo de prótesis auditivas empleado por el alumnado sordo «implante coclear/audífonos».

  En el análisis de resultados se ha encontrado que, en términos generales, los alumnos sordos con y sin implante coclear desarrollan de manera positiva tanto las actitudes escritoras como la percepción de su propia eficacia en la composición escrita. No obstante, existen unas matizaciones significativas, dada la variabilidad existente en las respuestas a cada uno de los ítems de las escalas, así como también la diversidad entre el alumnado.

  This article presents a research focused on the analysis of self-efficacy in written composition by deaf students with and without cochlear implants.

  To do this has been applied a scale adapted of self-efficacy in writing, which has been extracted from Harris and Graham (1992) and translated by Salvador (1997). Subsequently a comparison was made of the motivational skills according to the type of hearing aids.

  In the analysis of results it has been found that, in general terms, deaf students with and without cochlear implants develop positively the perception on its efficacy in writing. However, there are that take into account the variability of the answers and the diversity among the students.

To do this has been applied a scale adapted of attitude towards writing (Harris y Graham, 1992; Salvador, 1997). Subsequently a comparison was made of the motivational skills according to the educational grade, the characteristics of the subjects «deaf and hearing» and the type of hearing aids.
