    La selección de talentos constituye hoy día uno de los aspectos de mayor importancia en el ámbito deportivo y es además, una de las causas de que existan numerosas teorías donde se analiza el papel de los que participan como objetos y sujetos de dicha selección. La presente investigación contiene una selección de indicadores para el establecimiento de pruebas que contribuyan a una adecuada detección de talentos para la práctica del voleibol en las escuelas comunitarias que constituyen una leyenda viva. Para los amantes del deporte, posee particularidades interesantes por el tipo de juego de conjunto, que implica lucha de contrarios, velocidad de desplazamientos se hace necesario el análisis del somato tipo y las potencialidades a explotar en el desarrollo físico de cada integrante. Nos dimos a la tarea de seleccionar indicadores desde el punto de vista del voleibol empleando la caracterización del juego de voleibol como base y la utilización de diversas técnicas y métodos científicos como son: la revisión documental, la observación, la encuesta, el criterio de especialista permitiendo obtener valoraciones acerca de su aplicación, Participan en este trabajo una población constituida por 100 atletas pertenecientes a las escuelas comunitarias en estudio, 15 profesores deportivos de las escuelas donde se practica el deporte y 8 especialistas.

    Nowadays the selection of talents constitutes one of the most important aspects in the sports world and it is also, one of the causes in which lots of theories on the analysis of the role about the ones that take part in this selection as objects and subjects have. This investigation has a series of indicators for the applying of tests that contribute to an adequate detection of talents to practice Volleyball in the community schools which are a living legend. To those who love sports, it has interesting features for the team game, which implies the contrary wrestling, the speed of movements, the typology analysis is necessary and the potentialities to increase in the physical development of each member of the team. Some indicators were taken into consideration specifically for the Volleyball in which its characteristics were also analyzed as the base of it so as the use of different techniques and scientific methods were applied such as the documents analysis, the observation, the survey, the specialists’ criterion that allow getting some assessments of its application. One hundred athletes from those community schools were taken as a population to develop this investigation together with fifteen physical educators from those schools where this sport is practiced and eight specialists of Volleyball.
