Resumen de Tejidos e indumentarias en la traducción castellana del Decamerón (Esc. J-II-21)

En este artículo analizo los tejidos y vestimentas de la traducción manuscrita castellana del siglo XV del "Decamerón", que se encuentra en la Biblioteca del Escorial (J-II-21). Considero que ciertos errores se podrían interpretar como adaptaciones culturales a la España del momento. Relaciono, además, algunas de estas cuestiones con la traducción impresa castellana y la francesa de 1545

This article explores the theme of clothes and fabric in the Spanish fifteenth-century translation of Giovanni Boccaccio’ "Decameron" found in the Biblioteca del Escorial manuscript (J-II-21). It is concluded that some of the errors made by the translator could in fact be an adaptation to Spanish society and culture. Some of the aspects analysed here are related to the printed Spanish translation and to the French 1545 translation.
