(Lispector, 1995: 108).
Los correspondientes en este epistolario intercalan sus sentimientos y reflexiones siendo el tema dominante el análisis de la naturaleza de las relaciones amorosas, incluyendo la de los padres a su progenie y la separación o el escoger un nuevo camino;
“Não fugir, mas ir” (Lispector, 1995: 208).
This epistolary is a continuation of the one between two academics, Dr. Alberto Golding (good like gold but malleable) and Dr. Manman Touchstone (ascertains if something or someone is genuine) (Branda, 2015).
The title is inspired by the first novel by Clarice Lispector, Near to the Wildheart, in which the human relations are examined through the feelings of a woman and in which the protagonist says: “…how nice it would be to built something pure, free from the false, sublimated love, free from the fear of not loving…The fear of not loving, worst than the fear of not being loved…” (Lispector, 1990: 86).
The correspondents exchange their feelings and reflections. The dominant theme is the analysis of the amorous relationship between people, including parental love, who love each other, and separation or choosing a new path; “not to escape, but to go on” (Lispector, 1990: 181).
