    Tratar de descubrir la vida y obra de Antonio Riudavets Lledó, es intentar mostrar la figura de uno de los artistas más relevantes del S.XIX en la provincia de Alicante.

    Un artista que aunque destacó fundamentalmente como imaginero (realizó diez imágenes o grupos escultóricos para la Semana Santa crevillentina), supo trabajar en diferentes aspectos artísticos, destacando como pintor retratista así como restaurador y como uno de los primeros fotógrafos de estudio de la provincia de Alicante.

    También habría que destacar, la labor del Museo de la Semana Santa de Crevillent, no solo como institución que intenta promocionar y divulgar la Semana Santa Crevillentina, sino como ente que salvaguarda y conserva la historia de artistas como el propio Antonio Riudavets.

    Trying to discover the life and work of Antonio Riudavets Lledo, is trying to show the figure of one of the most important artists of the nineteenth century in the province of Alicante.

    An artist who even noted primarily as sculptor (he made ten pictures or sculptures for Easter crevillentina), I knew working in different artistic aspects, highlighting as a portrait painter and restorer and as one of the first photographers to study in the province of Alicante.

    We should also highlight the work of the Holy Week Museum of Crevillent, not only as an institution that tries to promote and disseminate the Easter Crevillentina, but as an entity that safeguards and preserves the history of artists such as Antonio himself Riudavets.
