O ensino de literatura infantil na formação inicial do professor

    Este artigo discute e problematiza o modo como a formação inicial do curso de Pedagogia, especificamente da Universidade Estadual do Norte do Paraná (UENP) – Campus Cornélio Procópio, contempla o ensino de Literatura Infantil nos anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental. Além disso, objetiva apresentar um breve histórico do curso supracitado como formação inicial para atuação nos anos iniciais do Ensino Fundamental; discutir a formação de leitores, por meio da Literatura Infantil, nesse nível de ensino e; analisar o Projeto Pedagógico do curso elencado, bem como os planos de ensino das disciplinas de Literatura Infantil, Alfabetização e letramento e Metodologia de Ensino de Língua Portuguesa. Assim, concluí, pela pesquisa bibliográfica e pela análise documental, que há uma perda imensurável no projeto pedagógico do curso em vigência com a extinção da disciplina de Literatura Infantil, sendo o conteúdo ‘literatura’ visto de forma superficial em duas disciplinas que não garantem todo o arcabouço teórico que seria ofertado na disciplina extinta.

    This article brings a discussion and a problematization about the manner that the initial formation, in the Pedagogy Course of the State University Northern of Parana – Campus Cornélio Procópio, deals with the Children’s Literature teaching in the first years of the Primary School. Moreover, it aims at presenting a brief history of this specific course as an initial formation for the action in the first years of the Primary School; discussing the reader’s formation, from the Children’s Literature on this level of teaching and analyzing the Pedagogical Project of the mentioned course, as well as the plans of teaching of the Children’s Literature disciplines, the Literacy and the Methodology of the Portuguese Language Teaching. Thus, I have concluded, by the bibliographic research and the documentary analyzis, that there is an immeasurable lost in the pedagogical project of this course caused by the extinction of the Children’s Literature disciplines, being the ‘literature’ content seen by a superficial way in two disciplines which do not embraces the entire theoretical framework that would be offered by the extinct discipline.
