    Este ensayo es una continuación de un estudio previo sobre el rol desempeñado por la Neo-vanguardia de los años sesentas en adelante.  En este caso particular, el enfoque es más sobre el papel de las artistas femeninas pioneras del Arte Corporal y su legado actual. La investigación busca auscultar los orígenes del fenómeno artístico desde un punto de vista multidisciplinario para poder matizar la complejidad detrás de estas expresiones del arte contemporáneo. Se propone, además, hallar las relaciones conceptuales, intelectuales y sociales entre las neo-vanguardias de Europa y Estados Unidos de Norte América; para poder impartir una dimensión más personal entre estas expresiones de nuevo cuño estético.

    This essay is a continuation of a prior study about the role played out by the Neo-avant-garde since the nineteen sixties to the present. In this particular case, the focus is much more on the pioneering female artists of Body Art and its legacy today. The investigation aspires to discover the origins of these artistic phenomena from a multidisciplinary point of view; so as to be able to recognize the complexity behind these expressions of contemporary art. The essay proposes, as well, to uncover the conceptual, intellectual and social relations between the neo-avant-gards of Europe and the United States of North America; therefore, incorporating a more personal dimension among these expressions of a new type of aesthetic.
