    The junction of the Radicals and the Socialists allowed the adoption of the Income tax. But the Left Wing was not united. In spite of the support of Jaures to the project, the socialist and revolutionary Left doesn 't want the tax modernization of the Bourgeois State. For its part, the Radical Party was opposed to revolutionary projects about taxation

    La jonction des radicaux et des socialistes a permis l'adoption de l'impôt sur le revenu. Mais la gauche ne présentait pas un front uni. Malgré l'engagement de Jaurès, la gauche socialiste et révolutionnaire se méfiait d'une modernisation fiscale de l'État bourgeois. Quant aux radicaux, il s'opposait aux projets trop révolutionnaires
