  Este trabajo pretende definir y describir el concepto de "valor" y su ámbito, partiendo de una revisión teórica que recoge evolutivamente las principales aportaciones científicas al respecto; para, tras su análisis riguroso, observando sus elementos comunes y diferenciales, ofrecer una definición propia, con el fin de pretender ser de utilidad a todos aquellos que piensen adentrarse en su estudio, y poder así responder ¿por qué? y ¿para qué?; es decir, explicar para predecir, prevenir e intervenir como, cuando y donde sea necesario.

  This work tries to define and to describe the concept of "value" and its context, from a theoretical revision that evolutionarily gathers the main scientific contributions on the matter; in order to observe, after its rigorous analysis, common and differentials elements, to offer a proper definition, with the purpose of being useful to all of those that plan to study this subjet, and being capable then to respond, why? And, for what reason?; that is to say, to explain in order to predict, to anticipate and to intervene how, when and where it is necessary.
