    El tema que se presenta, aborda en sentido general una problemática no resuelta totalmente por las Ciencias Pedagógicas en el siglo XX y en los años transcurridos del XXI, por lo que continúa siendo un reto más para cualquier especialista, que se proponga efectuar sus consideraciones al respecto. La meta es ambiciosa, y el desafío resulta complejo, si se tiene presente que estamos hablando de la polémica existente alrededor de la orientación de la personalidad. Los aspectos que se abordan, así como las consideraciones que se hacen, tienen como propósito, motivar y despertar el interés del personal docente en particular, a los efectos de que puedan ampliar sus conocimientos, profundizar, indagar y reflexionar acerca de una temática trascendental en la labor educacional.

    The topic presented, discussed in a general sense a problem not fully resolved by the Educational Science in the twentieth century and the years of the century, so it remains a challenge for any specialist who intends to carry out its considerations regard. The goal is ambitious, and the challenge is complex, if we consider that we are talking about the existing controversy about the personality orientation. The issues addressed and the considerations that are made, are intended to motivate and arouse the interest of teachers in particular, to the effect that they can expand their knowledge, further investigate and reflect on a momentous topic educational work.
