Resumen de Is there an attitude problem? Reconsidering the role of attitude in the TAM.

Timothy Teo

  • The article discusses the role of users' attitudes toward computer use and their behavioral intentions in the technology acceptance model (TAM), which is used to predict technology usage. The variables of perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use of the TAM are discussed. The research methods used in this study, which was at a teacher training center in Singapore, are also mentioned. The author found that the preservice teachers' attitudes were not a contributing factor in the total variance of technology usage. The author concludes that the attitude construct is not needed in the TAM.
