    El siguiente trabajo pretende ampliar la discusión sobre el bullying y la violencia escolar. En principio, de
    - nimos ambos términos y sus características, prestando especial atención al bullying, al cual llamaremos maltrato entre pares (MEP) indistintamente.

    En segundo lugar, describimos a los actores y su carácter intercambiable, así como las consecuencias presentes y futuras del MEP. Finalmente, señalamos la complejidad del origen del maltrato, intimidación o violencia, lo cual rebasa las fronteras escolares y nos sitúa entre las motivaciones psicodinámicas y el aprendizaje vicario.

    This work tries to broaden the discussion about school bullying and violence.

    In the
    rst place we will de
    ne both terms and their characteristics, with particular attention to bullying, which we will mention as peer abuse (maltrato entre pares, MEP) interchangeably.

    Second, we will describe the bullying actors and their interchangeable roles, as well as present and future consequences of bullying.

    Finally, we note the complexity of the abuse origin, intimidation or violence, which goes beyond the school boundaries and places us among psychodynamic motivations and vicarious learning.
