    Desde el primer empleo del arma nuclear, en julio de 1945, las potencias nucleares han aplicado diferentes políticas respecto el tipo de armamento nuclear a disponer y desarrollar, tanto de manera cuantitativa como cualitativa. EE. UU. lo ha reflejado, tanto en una serie de tratados multilaterales, como bilaterales con Rusia, como en un documento conocido como la Revisión de la Postura Nuclear norteamericana (NPR, por sus siglas en inglés). Este artículo pretende analizar las circunstancias que han forzado la modificación de la NPR 2010, mediante la recientemente publicada NPR 2018, así como las diferencias entre ellas y las reacciones producidas en otras potencias nucleares.

    Since the first use of the nuclear weapon (July 1945), nuclear powers have applied different policies regarding the type of nuclear weapons to be deployed and developed, both quantitatively and qualitatively. USA has reflected this through both, several multilateral and bilateral (with Russia) treaties, and the document known as the Review of the North American Nuclear Posture. This paper aims to analyze the circumstances that have forced the 2018 NPR to depart from 2010 NPR, as well as the differences between them and the reactions produced in other nuclear powers.
