  • Resumen
    • Semen does more than fertilize eggs. It seems to prime the mouse immune system for pregnancy, boosting an embryo's chances of implanting in the lining of the uterus. Similar changes happen in women, too, which could explain why IVF is more successful in couples having regular sex during treatment. Sarah Robertson at the University of Adelaide, Australia, and her colleagues have found that each time a female mouse copulates, immune cells called regulatory T-cells are released
