    Following Sánchez Bernardo�s review of the lexical approach and the �Big five� personality factors, a few comments and speculations are made about the social significance and utility of the identified dimensions. The general background of the comments is the following: are those factors mainly semantic-cognitive structures in the eye of the beholder, or they do reflect empirical behaviours?
