Dimensiones de la habilidad hablar en inglés para el profesional médico

    La presente investigación partió de la necesidad social de favorecer el desarrollo de la habilidad hablar en inglés desde el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje en los estudiantes de la carrera de Medicina. Se presentan los antecedentes y fundamentos que sustentan la investigación y que abarcan las categorías pedagógicas, sociolingüísticas, didácticas, psicológicas y dramatúrgica, como resultado de la sistematización de los conocimientos referidos al desarrollo de la habilidad hablar en inglés. La estrategia didáctica le concede al estudiante protagonismo en las actividades de comunicación oral que se realizan en la clase de inglés y en contextos no áulicos, además integra en sus acciones las dimensiones sociolingüística, expresiva no verbal y axiológica profesional, mediante el trabajo grupal, los métodos interactivos y el uso de procedimientos psicofísicos de actuación.

    The present investigation left of the social necessity of favoring the development of the ability to speak in English from the teaching-learning process in the students of the career of Medicine. The antecedents and foundations are presented that sustain the investigation and that they embrace the pedagogic categories, sociolinguistic, didactic, psychological and dramaturgical, as a result of the systematizing of the knowledge referred to the development of the ability to speak in English. The didactic strategy grants to the student the main character in the activities of oral communication that are carried out in English's class and in other contexts, it also integrates in its actions the dimensions sociolinguistic, expressive non-verbal and axiological-professional, by means of the collaborative work, the interactive methods and the use of psychophysical performance procedures.
