Leer, narrar, escenificar el cuerpo

    Desde hace varios años la línea de investigación que desarrollamos estudia la noción de cuerpo tanto en la literatura como en otras prácticas culturales y artísticas. En el inicio nos formulamos algunas preguntas que guiaron y guían nuestro proceso: ¿Cómo el cuerpo se constituye en el espacio de negociación y confrontación, en el lugar de la fascinación y del terror, del goce y del sufrimiento? ¿Cómo el cuerpo, en tanto expresión de un sujeto sometido a la mirada de los otros próximos es, por un lado, el espacio dócil sobre el que se aplican las reglas de coerción de los diversos dispositivos de control social, pero, por otro lado, por su capacidad de acción, deviene en una potencia y fuerza revolucionaria capaz de subvertir órdenes establecidos? ¿Qué cuerpos habitamos hoy y en qué territorios? ¿Cómo se vincula el cuerpo individual con la experiencia de un cuerpo colectivo? Las Ciencias Sociales y Humanas se muestran particularmente interesadas sobre el tema del cuerpo, habilitando pensamientos dentro del linaje de los estudios tradicionales desde perspectivas biologicistas y fisiológico-médicos hasta los estudios actuales que vinculan cuerpo y tecnología y hasta postulan la existencia corporal como holograma. Es decir, que desde la segunda mitad del siglo XX y en lo que llevamos transitado del XXI, la agenda de los protocolos científicos sociales y humanísticos en torno a la problemática cuerpo ha expandido su interés hacia nuevas manifestaciones.

    A partir de tres tipos de prácticas es que nos abocamos al estudio del cuerpo: las artes escénicas en las formas del teatro y la danza contemporánea; el trabajo de editoriales independientes desde la noción de “comunidad de lectura” lo que supone un cuerpo colectivo y, por último, la narrativa argentina actual. Tal estudio se centra en tres ejes de abordaje teórico: 1) cuerpo como organismo biológico, 2) cuerpo como realidad material de la vida social y cultural, 3) cuerpo como objeto de la revolución somatoplástica a través de la tecnología.

    For several years the line of research that we develop studies the notion of body in literature as well as in other cultural and artistic practices. In the beginning, we asked ourselves some questions that guided and guide our process: How is the body constituted in the space of negotiation and confrontation, in the place of fascination and terror, of enjoyment and suffering? How does the body, as the expression of a subject subjected to the gaze of others close to it, become, on the one hand, the docile space on which the rules of coercion of the various devices of social control are applied but, on the other hand, through its capacity for action, a revolutionary power and force capable of subverting established orders? What bodies do we inhabit today and in what territories? How is the individual body linked to the experience of a collective body? The Social and Human Sciences are particularly interested in the subject of the body, enabling thoughts within the lineage of traditional studies from biological and physiological-medical perspectives to current studies that link body and technology and even postulate body existence as a hologram. That is, since the second half of the twentieth century and in what we have been going through in the twenty-first century, the agenda of social and humanistic scientific protocols around the problematic body has expanded its interest towards new manifestations.

    From three types of practices is that we focus on the study of the body: the performing arts in the forms of theater and contemporary dance, the work of independent publishers from the notion of "reading community" which means a collective body and, finally, the current Argentine narrative. This study focuses on three axes of theoretical approach: 1) body as biological organism, 2) body as material reality of social and cultural life, 3) body as object of somatoplastic revolution through technology.
