The purpose of the study was to compare and analyze the effects of two instructional methodsÐinstructor-led and simulation-based instructionsÐon engineering students' achievements and course interests in a manufacturing engineering class. Twenty-nine undergraduate students participated in the study, and repeated measures were employed to collect multiple sets of data. The study showed no significant differences in the means of achievement and interests. The results are discussed in conjunction with the data tables.
