The present essay explores the performative frontier poetry of Guillermo Gómez-Peña as a challenge to translatability, cultural studies, and semiology. Throughout the text special heed is paid to the interlingual ludic mixing of the literature under analysis and a literary critical discourse performed upon it in strategic response to its never-to-be underestimated demands.
