La materia seca indigestible (MSND). tras la incubación en el rumen a distintos tiempos utilizando la técnica in saco, es estudiada como estimador de la digestibilidad de las dietas consumidas por corderos en crecimiento cebo. La tasa de recuperación de la MSND en heces aumenta al hacerlo el tiempo de incubación (64, 128 y 192 horas) desde 0,675 hasta 0,821. De la relación entre la ingestión y excreción fecal de MSND (gl d) frente al tiempo de incubación se calculó el tiempo de incubación necesario para lograr una recuperación total en las heces de la MSND ingerida y fue de 303,9 horas de incubación.
