  • Courses were organized on office automation using computers for non‐teaching staff of the University. A questionnaire was administered to find out the relationship between the effectiveness of the training programme and the department to which the trainees belong. It is concluded that, for increasing effectiveness of such programmes, it is preferable to organize separate courses for staff working in different categories of post.
