Resumen de An Overview of the Service Component of Two-Year and Four-Year Educators in Canadian Hospitality Programs
Hospitality educators balance many responsibilities in their work between teaching, scholarship and service. Responsibilities relating to scholarship and teaching have received the most attention in the literature. This paper focuses on the service responsibilities of hospitality educators, identifies some key issues surrounding the evaluation of service performance and presents the results of interviews with educators at three different colleges and universities who share their experiences regarding the role of service at their institutions.
