  • Reactions were sought from adult students concerning their use of various components included in the study materials provided for them in an independent study programme. The research described in this paper is but exploratory. It fits into an effort to relate actual study strategies used by students to instructional design components, with an aim to eventually informing instructional practices in the design of study materials.
