Um estudo sobre a apropriação de conceitos de termoquímica na perspectiva Ciência Tecnologia Sociedade e Ambiente

    The educational perspective of science technology society and environment (STSE) provides the study of scientific concepts from real situations, which motivated this research whose objective was to investigate the appropriation of concepts of thermochemistry in STS perspective in 2nd year high school students. In this context, a didactic sequence (DS) was elaborated in the form of the Three Pedagogical Moments in the STS perspective with the theme "What chemistry do you breathe?” that was apllied using different didactic resources. As instruments of data collection, an initial and final questionnaire was applied to the students, where both had the same questions, in order to evaluate the students' previous knowledge on thermochemistry content and its relationships with the environment and health and then verify the evolution of the responses provided by them in the face of the appropriation of scientific concepts. The DS was promising for the teaching of thermochemistry in the STS perspective, since, through the analysis of quantitative and qualitative data, it was found that the students were able to relate chemical concepts worked in this DS, thus improving the construction of scientific concepts

    A perspectiva educacional de Ciência Tecnologia Sociedade e Ambiente (CTSA) proporciona o estudo dos conceitos científicos a partir de situações reais, o que motivou esta pesquisa cujo objetivo foi investigar a apropriação de conceitos de Termoquímica na perspectiva CTSA em alunos do 2o ano do Ensino Médio. Assim, elaborou-se uma sequência didática (SD) nos moldes dos Três Momentos Pedagógicos na perspectiva CTSA com a temática “Qual a Química que você respira?” que foi aplicada utilizando-se diferentes recursos didáticos. Como instrumentos de coleta de dados foi aplicado aos alunos um questionário inicial e um final em que ambos possuem as mesmas perguntas, tendo em vista que o intuito foi avaliar os conhecimentos prévios dos alunos sobre o conteúdo de termoquímica e suas relações com o meio ambiente e a saúde e então verificar a evolução das respostas fornecidas por eles, ou seja a apropriação dos conceitos científicos. A SD foi promissora para o ensino de termoquímica na perspectiva CTSA pois, pelas análises dos dados quantitativos e qualitativos, constatou-se que os estudantes foram capazes de relacionar conceitos de Química trabalhados nesta SD aos efeitos da poluição atmosférica e na saúde, aprimorando, portanto, a construção dos conceitos científicos.
