    • AThe advent of programmed learning has meant an increased awareness of the need to relate training to job requirements, so much so that it is a prerequisite for all program writing that a task analysis should be carried out. This phase of the exercise is alone sufficient to result in considerable improvements in training and this paper reports an example of a task analysis which resulted in a drastic change in training requirement.
