  • Resumen
    • Based on the previous work on error analysis of the research group ENTELEARN, we propose the use of self-created didactic videos for the explicit treatment of error among university students who use English as a foreign language in online environments. The main aim is improving their written productions in online informal academic settings. For this, we will design a series of exclusive teaching videos based on the most common errors analyzed in the previous working stages of the group. In this quantitative research, the linguistic behaviors of the students of two subjects of the Universidad Internacional de La Rioja (UNIR) will be analyzed over an academic year by establishing a control group and two experimental groups. Later, we will analyze their written interventions in the compulsory forums of both subjects. One of the experimental groups will be exposed to a language attitude questionnaire prior to the forum in the second semester, while the other will benefit from the use of instructional videos. After the experiment, we will analyze the interventions in the forums of the first and second semesters of all groups to observe the effectiveness of explicit teaching and the validity of the videos through a satisfaction questionnaire.
