El uso de la rúbrica como instrumento de evaluación en la práctica reflexiva

    Los profesores y profesionales enfermeros que interactúan con el estudiante durante su proceso formativo en las prácticas clínicas, juegan un rol fundamental si ayudan al alumno a reflexionar sobre los cuidados, los procedimientos y las actividades que estos llevan a cabo a lo largo de dicha experiencia (Teixidor, 2006). Sin embargo los docentes también necesitan del feed back de los estudiantes para poder adecuar las estrategias metodológicas que utilizan y facilitar sus aprendizajes. Con el fin de conocer la valoración que realizan los estudiantes de enfermería de la Universidad de Girona con respecto a la práctica reflexiva que se llevan a cabo durante el practicum de la asignatura de enfermería materno infantil, nos marcamos el objetivo de diseñar y utilizar una rúbrica como instrumento evaluativo. Los resultados de dicha evaluación muestran que los estudiantes valoran positivamente el hecho de que se tengan en cuenta sus necesidades, expectativas, preocupaciones, etc. mientras realizan el practicum y destacan a la vez la importancia del trabajo colaborativo llevado a cabo durante las sesiones tutoriales en el hospital (todos pueden aprender del grupo y con el grupo) y la oportunidad que dicha experiencia brinda al profesor de guiar al alumno en su proceso de descubrimiento y de construcción de conocimiento con significado, buscando siempre un equilibrio que combine el pensar, el sentir y el actuar. Aunque mayoritariamente los resultados son positivos, se estima que pueden mejorar y en la actualidad, se está trabajando en la línea de perfeccionar la rúbrica presentada, para que de este modo se puedan captar mejor y más específicamente las demandas y necesidades de los estudiantes y poder incorporar en el practicum del nuevo plan de estudios las modificaciones oportunas de acuerdo a los criterios marcados des del Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior.

    The professors and the nurses who interact with the nursing students during their formative process in the clinical training, play a fundamental roll, if they help them to reflect on the cares, the procedures and the activities that they carry out throughout their clinical training experience (Teixidor, 2006). Nevertheless the lecturers also need the feed back from their students. This permit them to adapt the methodological strategies and facilitate to their students the learning process. With the purpose to know the evaluation that the nursing students of the University of Girona have done about the reflective practice which they are carried out during the nursing clinical training in the maternal-infant care practicum, we marked as a principal goal to design and to use a heading as an evaluative instrument. The results of this evaluation show that the students value positively the fact that their needs, expectations, preoccupations, etc. are considered during their practicum period and they simultaneously emphasize the value of the collaborative work carried out during the tutorial sessions in the hospital (all of them can learn from the group and with the group). Also they focused the opportunity that this kind of experience offers to them because the professor could be in this way a guide in their process of discovery and construction of knowledge with meaning, always looking for a balance that combines thinking, feeling and acting. Although the mainly results are positive, we esteem that we can improve the results. Nowadays we are working hardly to improve the presented heading, so in this way the demands and the needs of the students can be caught more good and more specifically and help us to incorporate in the practicum of the new curriculum the opportune modifications according the criteria of the European Space of Higher Education.
