Perspectiva histórica da tradución para a dobraxe ao catalán, éuscaro e galego

    This dissertation discusses the evolution of the translation industries for dubbing into Catalan, Basque and Galician from a historical perspective, focussing on the role played by the autonomic public television channels in each respective area, namely Televisió de Catalunya (TV3) for Catalan, Euskal Telebista (ETB) for Basque and Televisión de Galicia (TVG) for Galician. It provides a comparative overview of the current dubbing situation (with 2015 and 2016 data) between these three channels via a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the productions selected for audio-visual translation of this kind. The results obtained yield a series of conclusions involving a comparison of the state of dubbing between these three areas, paving the way for future research to further explore the relationship between dubbing and language planning.

    No presente traballo analizamos a evolución das industrias da tradución para a dobraxe ás linguas catalá, éuscara e galega, centrándonos no papel que desenvolveron as televisións autonómicas públicas de cada espazo, nomeadamente Televisió de Catalunya (TV3) coa lingua catalá, Euskal Telebista (ETB) coa lingua vasca e a Televisión de Galicia (TVG) coa lingua galega. Así mesmo, ofrecemos tamén unha comparativa sobre a situación da dobraxe nestas tres televisións (con datos dos anos 2015 e 2016) mediante unha análise cuantitativa e cualitativa das producións obxecto de tradución audiovisual para esta modalidade. Finalmente, as conclusións obtidas permitirán contrastar o estado desta industria nestes tres espazos e elaborar, a partir dos datos obtidos, estudos novos para afondar na relación entre dobraxe e normalización lingüística.
