Economía Colaborativa: el perfil del turista P2P que visita la ciudad de Córdoba

    La economía colaborativa ha impactado con efectos disruptivos en la economía tradicional, así como en los modos y mentalidades de los individuos, pasando de la filosofía del “eres lo que tienes” a la nueva mentalidad del “eres lo que usas”. El sector turístico es uno de los grandes afectados por esta nueva forma de viajar, de alojarse, etc. y resulta imprescindible analizar las personas que se están incorporando a esta nueva forma de hacer turismo. Este trabajo persigue analizar el perfil sociodemográfico del turista P2P que visita la ciudad de Córdoba, a través de un estudio de campo. Los principales resultados indican que el visitante P2P tiene en torno a los 35 años, formación universitaria, y un nivel de ingresos familiar medio-alto, lo que aleja el estereotipo de viajeros sin recursos, y pone de manifiesto el posible impacto positivo que estas personas pueden tener en la economía de la ciudad

    Sharing Economy has impacted with disruptive effects on the traditional economy, as well as on the ways and mentalities of individuals, moving from the “you are what you own” to the new mentality “you are what you access”. The tourism sector is one of the seriously affected by this new way of traveling, staying, and so on, and it is essential to analyse the people who are joining this new way of doing tourism. This work aims to analyse the sociodemographic profile of the P2P tourist who visits the city of Cordoba, through a field study. The main results indicate that the P2P visitor is around 35 years old, has a university education, and a medium-high family income level, which removes the stereotype of travellers without resources, and highlights the possible positive impact that these people can have on the city's economy
