In this paper we used multi-unit auctions as a new and adequate method to measure consumer’s willingness to pay for multiple units of organic chips. We found that the multi-unit Vickrey auction performs better than the uniform-price auction. Also we found that consumer’s willingness to pay is decreasing in the number of units and that the price of conventional food and positive attitudes toward organic food are the determinant factors of the willingness to pay for organic chips.
