Resumen de Potencialidades del psicopedagogo en el sistema de salud cubano

  La orientación y asesoría forman parte de las funciones del psicopedagogo en su formación y desempeño profesional por lo que la presente investigación las aborda a partir de su extensión al sistema de salud cubano, específicamente la atención secundaria (hospitales). Forma parte del proyecto de la Universidad de Las Tunas “Orientación y asesoría psicopedagógicas en contextos educativos, laborales, sociales y clínicos para el desarrollo socioeducativo cubano”. Para ello se parte del análisis teórico de referentes que justifican la amplitud del servicio psicopedagógico en establecimientos de salud. Se intenta demostrar la necesidad del trabajo del psicopedagogo en las instituciones de salud en Cuba, a favor de la orientación y asesoría a profesionales del sector, directivos, trabajadores, pacientes y familiares, mediante un estudio en el que se emplearon métodos de investigación como el cuestionario y la entrevista. Los principales resultados evidencian que no todos los sujetos seleccionados en la investigación conocen sobre las potencialidades del psicopedagogo en el sistema de salud cubano.

  Guidance and counseling are part of the psychoeducational psychologist's functions in his training and professional performance, so the present research approaches them from their extension to the Cuban health system, specifically secondary care (hospitals). It is part of the project of the University of Las Tunas "Psychopedagogical guidance and counseling in educational, labor, social and clinical contexts for Cuban socio-educational development". It is based on the theoretical analysis of referents that justify the scope of the psycho-pedagogical service in health establishments. An attempt is made to demonstrate the need of the psychopedagogist's work in health institutions in Cuba, in favor of guidance and counseling to professionals of the sector, managers, workers, patients and relatives, bymeans of a study in which research methods such as questionnaire and interview were used. The main results show that not all the subjects selected in the research know about the potential of the psychopedagogist in the Cuban health system.
