    El estudio biográfico y musicológico sobre el compositor romántico Melchor Gomis sigue inacabado. En las siguientes páginas tratamos de sumergirnos en los relatos variantes y alternativos que se ofrecieron después de la muerte del músico hispánico, en 1836. En esta línea, se cuestiona la teoría comúnmente aceptada sobre la no pervivencia de su memoria: Gomis siguió presente en los artículos especializados y las ediciones musicales después de su muerte. Además, nuestro estudio se centra en la observación de la fijación de sobre significados y la adquisición de valores sobre su anhelo biográfico. Con la identificación de las ficciones y de la huella de Gomis en los discursos posteriores a su muerte, podemos obtener una visión más completa del proyecto de vida del compositor.

    The biographical and musicological study on the romantic composer Melchor Gomis remains unfinished. In the following pages we try to delve into the variant and alternative narrations that were built after the death of the Hispanic musician around 1836. In this line, we question the commonly accepted theory about the non-survival of his memory: Gomis continued to be present in the specialized articles and musical editions after his death. In addition, our study focuses on the observation of overmeanings settling and the acquisition of values on his biographical yearning. With the identification of the fictions and the trace of Gomis in the speeches after his death, we can obtain a more complete vision of the composer's life project.
