Inserción de las TIC en el proceso de formación educomunicativa para la prevención del embarazo adolescente

    El presente artículo aborda la temática de la formación educomunicativa dirigida a la prevención del embarazo adolescente, de relevancia en Cuba como problema social y de salud que denota en los últimos años su mayor visibilidad. Como aspecto relevante se incorporó el proceso de formación educomunicativa. El estudio parte de un acercamiento a las condiciones en que surge la formación educomunicativa, las variaciones que experimenta su conceptualización, un breve recorrido por algunas acciones de formación educomunicativa y el reconocimiento de sus ventajas en el contexto escolar. Ello avala la pertinencia del presente trabajo cuyo objetivo es contribuir a la prevención del embarazo adolescente desde el método de aprender-haciendo, propio de la formación educomunicativa, donde los estudiantes no solo se educan a sí mismos, sino que aportan a la educación de los demás. Para el logro del objetivo se diseñó un sistema de talleres, basado en las TIC, con actividades que transitan por las tres etapas del proceso: análisis, evaluación y creación. La investigación es de tipo explicativa y está sustentada en el método Dialéctico- Materialista como método general de investigación. Se utilizaron otros como el Histórico-Lógico, Sistémico-estructural y Etnografía y las técnicas encuesta, entrevista en profundidad y grupo de discusión. La puesta en práctica de la propuesta impidió bajas por concepto de embarazo y validó la pertinencia de la formación educomunicativa en el contexto escolar, no solo como alternativa viable, sino –y, sobre todo- necesaria.     This article addresses the issue of educommunicative training aimed at the prevention of adolescent pregnancy, of relevance in Cuba as a social and health problem that denotes its greater visibility in recent years. As a relevant aspect, the educommunicative training process was incorporated. The study starts from an approach to the conditions in which educommunicative training arises, the variations that its conceptualization experiences, a brief tour of some educommunicative training actions and the recognition of its advantages in the school context. This supports the relevance of this work, the objective of which is to contribute to the prevention of adolescent pregnancy from the learning-by-doing method, typical of educommunicative training, where students not only educate themselves but also contribute to the education of others. To achieve the objective, a system of workshops was designed, with activities that go through the three stages of the process: analysis, evaluation and creation. The research is explanatory and is based on the Dialectical-Materialistic method as a general research method. Others such as the Historical-Logical, Systemic-structural and Ethnography and the survey techniques, in-depth interview and discussion group were used. The implementation of the proposal prevented leave due to pregnancy and validated the relevance of educommunicative training in the school context, not only as a viable alternative, but -and above all- necessary. In this era of growing technological advances, prevention and education must go hand in hand with educommunicative training.
